Reorder point calculator
The reorder point tells you exactly when to place a new purchase order so stock arrives before you run out. Enter your demand and lead time data below.
What is reorder point?
The reorder point (ROP) is the minimum inventory level that triggers a new purchase order. When your stock hits the ROP, you place an order; the new stock arrives just as your current stock reaches zero (or your safety stock level).
Without an accurate ROP, operations teams either order too early (excess inventory) or too late (stockouts and production stoppages).
