Fill rate calculator

Fill rate measures what percentage of customer orders you ship complete and on time. It is the most direct signal of whether your inventory and production planning are working.

What is fill rate?

Fill rate (also called order fill rate or line fill rate) is a customer service metric that tells you how often you can satisfy a customer order from stock on hand, without a backorder, partial shipment, or substitution.

A low fill rate is usually a symptom of poor safety stock levels, inaccurate demand forecasting, or production scheduling problems upstream.
